This past weekend, Paws Give Me Purpose Team welcomed little Rose, aka Rosita, into Sanctuary.
Surrendered to a shelter by the family she thought would love her forever, this tiny senior was broken hearted and very afraid. So much so she would growl and snap at anyone who tried to get near her. We understand her fear, she had been abandoned in a crowded noisy place and was surrounded by a bunch of strangers who wanted to touch and examine her.
This beautiful senior’s world has been turned upside down and we simply could not turn down the urgent plea.
How do abandoned dogs feel? The same way abandoned humans feel — worthless, unwanted, unlovable. Imagine how you’d feel, and that’s how Rosita feels.
Rosita is now safe with Paws Give Me Purpose but her journey has just begun. We will do everything in our power to provide her with everything she needs and deserves in order to live her golden years to the fullest.
