A very cute, simple and delicious dog friendly version of the peanut butter cup your pup is sure to enjoy!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups carob chips
- 4 tablespoons coconut oil
- 4 tablespoons natural creamy peanut butter
- yogurt chips (optional)
Instructions:
- place cupcake liners in a cupcake tin
- melt 1/2 the carob chips, and 1/2 the coconut oil
- whisk together until fully melted and smooth
- spoon 1 tablespoon of melted mixture into each cupcake liner
- shake pan to level out the mixture and prevent bubbles
- place in freezer for 10 minutes to set
- once set, add 1 teaspoon of peanut butter on top of frozen carob layer
- place back in freezer for another 10 minutes to set
- melt the other half of your carob chips and coconut oil
- add 1 tablespoon of mixture on top of the peanut butter layer (make sure to completely cover the set peanut butter)
- place back in freezer for another 10 minutes or until firm
Optional:
- melt some yogurt chips
- place in squeeze bottle or icing bag
- decorate your Puppy Peanut Butter Cups
- freeze until completely set
