Today we are asking for all our staff, volunteers, followers, and supporters to help us pray for Zoey as she undergoes her spay surgery tomorrow.
Our promise to Zoey is to help her heal both physically and emotionally so she can live her life knowing what it is truly like to be loved.
Our concern with Zoey during this time is her being handled by strangers as she reacts poorly to those she fears; we all know that while the Vets office can be a scary place to most pups, Zoey’s fears are much more severe.
We are hoping and praying this will not be too emotionally traumatic for her, and that she will be comfortable once she is back here at the Sanctuary with the one person she loves and trusts the most.
It goes without saying that we will do whatever is necessary to help Zoey feel her best and be the most comfortable she can be after her surgery.
We thank you all for your continued outpouring of support for Zoey, and most especially to our very generous donor Louise who contributed the necessary funds to our Veterinarian for this surgical procedure.
