While these tasty treats may look fancy, they are quick and easy to throw together.
A delicious cookie both you and your pup can enjoy!
Ingredients:
- 1 medium, over-ripe banana
- 2 large eggs
- 3 tablespoon honey
- 3 tablespoons unrefined extra virgin coconut oil
- 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 1/2 cups + 1/4 cup oat flour
- 1/4 cup carob powder
Instructions:
- preheat oven to 350
- line baking sheet with parchment paper
- mash banana
- mix banana with eggs, coconut oil, honey, cinnamon and baking powder until well combined
- stir in oat flour and carob powder until mixture becomes dough
- roll out dough on to floured surface to approximately 1/4″ thick
- cut into desired shapes
- place on baking sheet
- bake for 10 minutes, then flip over and bake 10 minutes more (oven times may vary)
- for a crunchy cookie, reduce heat to 150 and bake for 3 – 4 hours, or until crunchy
