Sanctuary can be defined as a place of peace, refuge or safety, a place where people or animals can live and be protected. This is what we do here at Paws Give Me Purpose; we treat every dog that comes through our doors with excellent care, compassion and love.
Watching an almost 22-year-old dog play like a puppy after living a life of criminal neglect and deprivation for so long really makes all of our struggles worth it. Calvin is learning what it is truly like to be loved, and that humans can be kind.
Our promise to this beautiful soul is to provide a safe and loving environment for the rest of his life. We are making sure that Calvin is truly enjoying his golden years to the fullest and is spoiled as he should be.
