Going Bananas


Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 2 tablespoons flaxseed meal
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup buckwheat flour
  • 1 ripe banana, mashed

Instructions:

  • preheat oven to 350
  • combine all ingredients, mix well until dough is formed
  • if dough is too sticky add some more flour 1 tablespoon at a time until no longer sticky and easy to work with
  • roll out dough on to lightly floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick
  • cut out desired shapes
  • place treats on parchment lined cookie sheet
  • bake 15-20 minutes
  • turn off oven and allow treats to cool inside for maximum crunch

*optional: drizzle with melted peanut butter
