This is Angel.
Angel is a very fragile, 4 pound Chihuahua.
Angel is 14 years old.
Angel was surrendered to a high kill shelter.
Angel’s owner requested to have her euthanized.
Yorkie 911 Rescue stepped in and pulled Angel to safety.
Angel is older, Angel is frail.
Angel needed sanctuary.
Angel is now safe.
Angel arrived at Paws Give Me Purpose needing much needed medical care and TLC.
It is clear Angel was neglected.
Angel is very thin, every bone in her little body sticks out.
Angel has no teeth and her lower legs, feet and tail are urine stained.
Angel has trouble walking properly.
Poor little Angel is also suffering from a horrible upper respiratory infection, bordering pneumonia.
Angel is receiving the expert medical care she needs and deserves.
Paws Give Me Purpose will do everything possible to help her have the best life going forward.
Angel is extremely sweet, enjoying being loved and spoiled by all of us here at Paws Give Me Purpose.
She has a warm bed, blankets, toys, food, treats, supplements, medications, everything a little Chihuahua girl could ask for.
Angel is a fighter and we hope and pray she will make a full recovery, and will enjoy her life here in sanctuary with the other pups.
We will never give up on Angel.
Help us give Angel the wonderful life she truly deserves.
Help us help Angel, and save others like her.
Without you we cannot continue to help those that need us most.
Donations are desperately needed.

Meet Our Little Angel
Meet our newest Paws Give Me Purpose Sanctuary resident: Angel.
Angel arrived a few days ago and we have been busy tending to her medical needs.
This sweet girl was dumped at a high kill shelter by those she called her family. She is 14 years old, extremely thin, has no teeth, her lower legs and feet are urine stained, and she is now suffering from a horrible upper respiratory infection.
Stay tuned for a more detailed bio coming soon, but for now we really need your help.
Please donate to help us help Angel! No amount is too small.
This Is Pop-Tart
This is Pop-Tart.
Pop-Tart was found on the streets of Trenton New Jersey.
Pop-Tart was eating trash out of a dumpster.
How or why he was out there on the street are still a mystery.
Paws Give Me Purpose stepped in and pulled Pop-Tart to safety.
Pop-Tart arrived at Paws Give Me Purpose dirty, tired, full of fleas and with overgrown nails.
We made sure Pop-Tart received much needed TLC and Vet Care.
No owner ever stepped forward to claim or look for Pop-Tart.
Pop-Tart was obviously unwanted and unloved, disposed of like yesterday’s newspaper.
Pop-Tart had a very grumpy personality, he was a biter and not a lover of all humans.
Pop-Tart did not like to be touched, picked up or groomed.
Pop-Tart is also extremely people and dog selective, picking fights with those he does not care for.
Paws Give Me Purpose was told to give up, Pop-Tart could not be helped.
We never gave up on Pop-Tart.
Pop-Tart is still a biter but has learned that not all humans are mean.
Pop-Tart lives in sanctuary and has learned to trust us here at Paws Give Me Purpose. Pop-Tart has learned that humans can love.
We never gave up on Pop-Tart.
Pop-Tart never gave up on us.
Pop-Tart is the Paws Give Me Purpose resident “grumpy old man”.
Pop-Tart has regained faith in humans, especially those that care for him.
Help us save other dogs like Pop-Tart!
