Spirit is very happy to finally be cone free this morning. Instead, she now gets to wear some very fashionable cotton t-shirts to be sure she doesn’t irritate the chest as it continues to heal. We also don’t want any of the other pups who come into contact with her to attempt to touch or lick that sensitive area either.
Since Spirit has been separated from the large breed pack for the last two weeks due to her injury, we will slowly reintroduced her to that section of our Sanctuary. She still needs to take it easy, but we know she misses her friends.
Please help us continue to be able to help Spirit and others just like her. We cannot do this without you!
