Lovely Miss Lucy

Senior dogs with special needs like our beautiful Lucy are often dumped by those who promised to love them forever on the street and in shelters.

Your donations saved Lucy’s life and so many others. We thank you all for giving us the ability to do what we do.

All of our Sanctuary residents need people with extra-big hearts to help give them their second chance at life.

While we hate to continue to ask for money, we need your support to continue to provide all of our Sanctuary residents with lifetime care. Your generosity and kindness helps sustain Paws Give Me Purpose Inc., making it possible for dogs with special needs like Lucy to live in the safe, loving, family-like environment of our Sanctuary.

Donations are at an all time low, and the reality is our expenses greatly outweigh the donations we receive. We are working hard to make sure that the dogs here in Sanctuary have all their needs met. That has to be our priority!

100% of all donations go directly towards the long-term care of the Paws Give Me Purpose Sanctuary residents.

Big Birthday Bash

Today was an extra special day here at Paws Give Me Purpose Sanctuary; Calvin and Hobbes celebrated with a big Birthday bash, Calvin turning 22 years young and his brother Hobbes 21. These two are officially the oldest sanctuary members we have ever had, but you would never even guess! They run around with the energy of puppies, it’s truly amazing to see.

They enjoyed a fun filled evening with some staff and volunteers, and those who could not be here in person tuned in via video chat. Fun, treats, cupcakes and of course presents were shared with all the dogs here in Sanctuary – big and small.

Everyone truly enjoyed themselves, especially our oldest seniors – most of them may have never celebrated a Birthday before and they truly deserve it and so much more! After living many years of criminal neglect and deprivation, Calvin and Hobbes are learning what it is truly like to be loved and are being spoiled by so many wonderful caring people.

All dogs are beautiful, but senior dogs have a way of touching our hearts in a way that changes everything!

Believe it or not, these extra special boys are still wishing for their very own sponsors. Will you make their Birthday wish come true? If anyone is interested in sponsoring Calvin or Hobbes’s lifetime care in Sanctuary, please reach out to us directly.

Precious Paco

For many of the dogs who make Paws Give Me Purpose their home, it is the first time in their lives they feel safe and loved, and we make sure these feelings last forever.

Adorable Paco is one of the tiny Paws Give Me Purpose Sanctuary residents. He came to us from a very difficult past where he lived in a very dirty house with many other Chihuahuas. They were all severely neglected, mistreated, barely had food and lived covered in their own filth; the owner was sadly a hoarder.

Paco and his siblings were in very bad shape, and unfortunately not all of them were strong enough to survive, Paco was one of the only ones that made it. We never gave up on Paco and thankfully, he fought his way back to health.

Due to Paco’s difficulty adjusting to new people and environments, it was decided living here in Sanctuary was the best thing for him. Paco is very untrusting, in fact, he really only cares for one human, his rescuer.

Paco has been trying for a long time to like other people, but his past has made him fearful and he is afraid humans will hurt him and has bitten many times out of fear.

Paws Give Me Purpose has promised Paco that we will continue to give him his best life daily with unconditional love for the rest of his life, but he still needs your prayers, love and support too.

This is what we do at Paws Give Me Purpose.

Paco is still in search of his very own lifetime sponsor; could you be the one to make his wish come true? If you are interested in signing up to be Paco’s sponsor please reach out to us directly.
