More Prayers For Tito

We come to you today asking your generous hearts for help and to send positive, healing prayers for Tito.

Tomorrow, Tito will be heading in to surgery to remove the remaining 10 rotten teeth in his mouth. For those not familiar with his story, Tito needed a total of 17 teeth extracted. They are extremely rotted and infecting his gums. These teeth are surely a cause of pain for him for far too long.

7 teeth were extracted back in February at the same time he was neutered, but Tito’s body temperature dropped a bit too low during the procedure and the Veterinary team wanted to be sure that he was not in any danger.

As much as we hated waiting to relieve his remaining discomfort, we needed to wait a couple months after his last surgery; his little body really had been through so much in a short period of time – he needed time to heal.

While Tito has been uncomfortable, he has not been in any pain. He is eating very soft food and seems to enjoy it.

While Tito’s history is a mystery due to being found as a stray, his condition reveals that until his arrival at Paws Give Me Purpose, his life was surely a difficult one and we are doing everything in our power to make it better for him – but we cannot do it without you.

Please consider making a life-saving donation. With you by our side, we can give Tito, and many more unwanted souls, a fighting chance to have the opportunity to live out their lives to the fullest.

Happy Birthday Bailey

We believe dogs are just the most amazing creatures who give us unconditional love. To us, they are role models for being alive – you really can learn so much from them.

It was a beautiful weekend here in Southern New Jersey, and what made it even more special for all our Sanctuary residents was celebrating Bailey’s 7th Birthday!

All the pups enjoyed themselves snacking on cupcakes, doggie treats, and all received party favors of new toys – which were the big hit of the day.

There is nothing like celebrating a Birthday at Paws Give Me Purpose, for it is not just a celebration of getting a year older, it’s a celebration of a life that was almost no longer going to be.

This is what we do here at Paws Give Me Purpose.

Hello From Snickers

Snickers is just stopping in to say hello to all our fabulous followers and supporters. He is feeling his best and being a very good boy taking his medications and supplements daily. We are keeping a close watch on his kidneys and making sure he stays hydrated. Ensuring optimal hydration is the single most important aspect in treating insufficient kidney function.

Much to our surprise, it is a hot summer-like day here today in Southern Jersey, with the temps reaching 88 degrees. As much he enjoys his yard time, it is best for the health of our special needs seniors to spend more time indoors where it’s cooler.

For Snickers, Paws Give Me Purpose Sanctuary is home. A place where he has learned that not all humans are unkind, and what it’s truly like to be loved.

For those not familiar with his story, Snickers was abandoned at the same shelter TWICE by humans he had considered his forever family. To read his complete story, head over to:

It’s all because of you that we can give Snickers and every dog here in Sanctuary what they need to thrive and live their lives out to the fullest; the way it was meant to be. You give them all hope for a future full of love and happiness.

This is what we do here at Paws Give Me Purpose. Thank you for giving us the ability to do what we do.
