A while back I wrote an article about blueberries and why they are considered a fabulous super-food for your dog! In case you missed that post it can be found here:

These treats are loaded with antioxidants that protect cells, cognitive function, prevent cancer, and heart disease. If you want to change-up the recipe every once in a while these yummy treats can also be made with cranberries, blackberries, strawberries, or raspberries.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- ¼ cup ground flax-seed
- 2-3 tablespoons water
- 2/3 cup oatmeal
Instructions:
- preheat oven to 350
- place oatmeal in food processor, or blender and process until it becomes flour like consistency
- puree the blueberries, set aside
- combine flour, oatmeal and ground flax-seed
- fold the blueberries and yogurt into the dry ingredients making a dough (add some water if necessary to hold dough together)
- roll out dough on floured surface to about 1/4” thickness
- cut out desired shapes and place on nonstick or on parchment paper lined cookie sheet
- bake for 15-18 minutes (oven times may vary)
- once cooled store in airtight container in your refrigerator
