Always Hope

We have rescued animals that never let us touch them, have held animals that smelled so bad you had to hold your breath to even get near them. We have been covered in blood as we held a dog telling them to fight, and have gained the trust of dogs that we thought would never trust.

Pictured here is Hope. From the moment Hope exited her transport crate she grabbed on to Sanctuary mom’s neck and would not let go. All she wanted was to be loved – and we did just that.

She was broken, weak, her body tired. Immediate and urgent medical and supportive care was provided.

Hope lived in Sanctuary for just six days and gained her Angel wings peacefully on her own terms exactly the way she walked through our doors, hugging Sanctuary mom.

Sometimes, Paws Give Me Purpose is that special place where dogs come to cross that bridge with dignity and love…

This is what we do here at Paws Give Me Purpose.

Meet Jellybean

Left outside in the pouring rain to fend for herself, this tiny, three ½ pound girl found herself trembling in fear behind shelter walls. She waited for someone to come looking for her and take her home, but sadly that never happened.

We are appalled at the rate pets are abandoned due to irresponsible people. We’ve heard these heartbreaking stories again and again, what is it going to take for people to realize that dogs are not disposable. The sad reality of the world we live in – an innocent beautiful little senior dog neglected and then abandoned.

Jellybean is now safe with us and is receiving the expert medical care she needs and deserves. She eats well, like she hasn’t seen food in a long time, and has begun medications and supplements to help her tiny body heal.

Our promise to Jellybean is to provide her with a safe and loving environment for the rest of her life and we are committed to keeping this promise. Paws Give Me Purpose will do everything possible to help Jellybean have the best life going forward.

We ask that you please consider making a donation to help us with Jellybeans care – she deserves this second chance.

Chester Update

Little Chester popping in on this thankful Thursday to say hello to his fabulous supporters and let you know how much he appreciates your positive thoughts, prayers and donations toward his care.

Surgery went well, and Chester has been resting, taking his medications and eating like a champ.

While we wait on pins and needles for the biopsy results of the largest mass, the good news is he has been able to urinate and he is very proud of it.

Keep those prayers and donations coming and we will keep you updated.
