We have rescued animals that never let us touch them, have held animals that smelled so bad you had to hold your breath to even get near them. We have been covered in blood as we held a dog telling them to fight, and have gained the trust of dogs that we thought would never trust.
Pictured here is Hope. From the moment Hope exited her transport crate she grabbed on to Sanctuary mom’s neck and would not let go. All she wanted was to be loved – and we did just that.
She was broken, weak, her body tired. Immediate and urgent medical and supportive care was provided.
Hope lived in Sanctuary for just six days and gained her Angel wings peacefully on her own terms exactly the way she walked through our doors, hugging Sanctuary mom.
Sometimes, Paws Give Me Purpose is that special place where dogs come to cross that bridge with dignity and love…
This is what we do here at Paws Give Me Purpose.
